If I do Taijiquan do I need to become a philosopher sage? This is funny question and worthy of deeper thought.

A month of Taijiquan!

Valentine's Day is all about female competition isn't it? No one cares about the tradition - if indeed there is any. Men think that women dress to attract men. No, no, no. Women dress to compete with other women. This is truth.

I tried another Taijiquan class and was more comfortable with this one. This time it was men and women.

I started Taijiquan and was disappointed by the class. It was follow-the-leader style and very silly. They spent more time talking than exercising. I felt self-conscious and quote awkward but was not impressed by the Teacher or her class.

I am starting Taijiquan this week as my New Year Resolution. Yes, very Western but OK that is my excuse. I wanted to learn Taijiquan because it is said to be extremely good for health and a martial art too.
